VERSION 1.0.9 · RELEASE CANDIDATE

More reliable imports, descriptions, and fit evidence

Version 1.0.9 improves saved-email and direct posting imports, current-page description capture, Indeed location and salary extraction, source-recovery feedback, and the compact Add opportunity layout. It also filters employer-policy boilerplate out of qualification coaching and lets you select one or many meaningful unanswered qualifications to add as suggested facts for truthful review in your profile.

Availability: version 1.0.9 is a release candidate and is not yet publicly available. The current public Chrome Web Store version remains 1.0.8 until Google publishes the update.

Companion downloads are now version 1.0.9. The macOS package is Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized, and stapled. Windows and Linux packages remain available for installation and acceptance on those operating systems.

VERSION 1.0.7 · SEPTEMBER 1, 2026

Description and evidence reliability update

Version 1.0.7 improves saved-job description refresh and recovery, direct job and saved-email imports, verified-fact workflows, honest Claude usage limits, analysis reruns, scoring explanations, and evidence-first ranking that does not penalize a title mismatch.

Availability: version 1.0.7 is publicly available to 100% of users from the official Chrome Web Store listing.

The separate secure Companion downloads are now version 1.0.8. Role Rover never submits an application. Job-source and AI-provider behavior can change independently of the extension.

VERSION 1.0.0 · AUGUST 28, 2026
